County Hall, once a fashionable hydro, is a stunning building offering ample space for wedding parties of up to 100 and adequate room for receptions for 250 guests in fantastic surrounds. The Council's Members' Lounge has a private bar, sprung dance floor and stage as well as a sun terrace overlooking extensive gardens for those all important photographs. Wedding caterers can be organised for proper sit-down wedding breakfasts for up to 100 guests or more simple buffets for up to 250. The County Hall at Matlock has a a great deal of parking for guests cars in the lower car park. From the car park you follow the path winding up through the gardens to a large lawn before meeting the access road and a set of pretty steps to the sun terrace and wedding venue.
